Taking over a football program that finished the previous season by losing their last seven games isn’t an easy task.

Coaching a team like Purdue that plays in a stacked Big Ten Conference makes things even trickier.

A lot of teams would fold when they endure adversity like Purdue faced when they blew late leads in games to Rutgers and Nebraska, but instead, this Boilermaker football team learned from those mistakes and now find themselves eligible to play in a bowl game.

Coach Brohm reflected on the struggles that helped this team forge their identiy, being pleasently surprised Purdue is going to a Bowl game this seaosn, the veteran leadership that helped this team thrive and what winning the Old Oaken Bucket means.
